Mr. Sandeep Kasukurthy holds a post-graduate degree in M.Sc. Medical Microbiology and has 12 years of experience in Diagnostic investigations, Quality Assurance and Infection Control in Clinical laboratories. Mr Kasukurthy started his career as a Laboratory Technician under the ICMR Project “Establishment of Diagnostic Virology Lab-Grade-1”, at RMRC (ICMR) Port Blair, A&N Islands and worked as a Junior Microbiologist at Microbiology Department, DDRC-SRL(Ranbaxy), Diagnostics Pvt Ltd, Kochi, Kerala. He has worked in the capacity of a Technical Officer under Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND Geneva), project for the Strengthening/ Up-grading of Laboratories for the Detection of MDR-TB Cases in India, under the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP) at National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (ICMR), Chennai.
Mr. Kasukurthy has also worked as a Regional Laboratory Quality Consultant under Labs for Life project-CDC, USA, NACO, New Delhi - partnership project for implementing QMS as per ISO 15189 (2012) guidelines in selected Govt hospital Clinical laboratories of Andhra Pradesh (Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, Krishna, and Guntur districts) and Telangana (Warangal and Mahabubnagar districts). He has worked in the capacity of Laboratory Specimen Manager at Johns Hopkins India Pvt Ltd (BJ Govt Medical College - Clinical Research Site,Pune and was responsible for supervising Biorepository, LIS and shipments. Hewill be based out of Vijayawada with Project NISCHIT Plus TB - ARPA.
