Ms. Smita Waghmare has extensively engaged in the field of child rights, HIV AIDS and TB for over 13 years after completing her MSW from Pune University. She started her career in Child rights and worked extensively with Child Domestic Workers. She was later awarded the best practices of the PPTCT model in Maharashtra by NACO. She coordinates the activities of ‘End MDR TB Dharavi' Project for SHARE INDIA. She is also involved in facilitating workshops for data use workshops for TB RNTCP program staff in Mumbai.
