NISCHIT PLUS TB: Pediatric TB Project: End TB in Indian Children project
SHARE INDIA is supported by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to provide technical assistance to the National TB Elimination Program (NTEP) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India (GoI). SHARE INDIA supports projects in Delhi, Karnataka ,and 13 other states across the country to support the elimination of TB in India by the year 2025.
About the Project
The prevention of TB in high burden areas among vulnerable population is key step to move towards End TB goal. SHARE INDIA along with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) aims to aims to leverage advances in public health activities developed to address the impact of the COVID pandemic on TB services and improve TB services by focusing on intensified TB case findingand provision of TPT to place-based contacts in areas of high TB transmission.The project will be implemented across selected 3 cities of India (Karnataka, Delhi, and Sikkim)

Qualification | PhD/BAMS/BHMS/BDS/ with MPH/MHA OR BSW/MSW in social work with more than 8 years’ experience of working in public health programs. |
The Project officer (PO) will be based at the allotted project site and shall work closely under the guidance of Project Manager and the local NTEP officials. The PO will be responsible for implementing all the on-ground project activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
1.Program Planning and Management:
- The PO will support the project team on a regular basis and prepare micro activity plans for strengthening project activities. PO will plan activities like enrolments, consenting, education, blood collections, arranging CXRs, linkages for TPT & TB treatment for participants for ensure smooth implementation of project activities at the priority sites (viz. for Bengaluru- TI groups, Delhi- slums and Gangtok- congregation in monastery)
- Provide techno-managerial support to the team in various technical and management aspects of the project
- Participate and contribute to development of internal reporting systems, prepare detailed implementation plans, monthly / quarterly / annual work plan, narrative reports and financial reports, and assist in annual budgeting exercises as required for the project and support APD in these activities.
- Participate and represent project work with project team the stakeholder meetings.
- Provide necessary support to the Project Manager in project activities to achieve the expected deliverables
2.Capacity Development:
- The PO will be responsible for supporting the project team to enhance their knowledge and information on LTBI testing, treating LTBI & for management of referrals and linkages for LTBI and TB treatment.
- PO will guide the project team to build their capacities in awareness activities, ACSM, referrals from the field, counselling, diagnosis and quality management and challenging issues of TB disease & LTBI in the field.
- Preparation of training material, modules, IEC materials and other communication tools as required per project needs.
3.Program monitoring and feedback:
- The PO shall conduct routine supervisory visits to monitor the project staff and give technical support to them whenever required.
- The PO will be responsible to conduct/attend routine meetings with project staff and update the SHARE INDIA senior management, CDC on the status of project implementation periodically.
- Participate in the meetings with the CDC & SHARE INDIA team and implement the suggestions of the team and assist them in facilitating their visits to the project sites.
4. Representation and Advocacy:
- The PO shall be responsible for effective coordination with the Project Manager, NTEP officials and other stake holders for bringing collaboration and synergy to the program.
- Interact and build relationships with senior officials, liaise with representatives of the medical fraternity, establish linkages with potential partner centers, etc., to enhance the effectiveness of the project.
5. Documentation and reporting:
- Be responsible to get the good practices, success stories documented and ensuring regular reporting by the facilities and provide periodical reports to the SHARE INDIA, CDC & local NTEP authorities.
Compensation offered:
The gross remuneration budgeted for this position is attractive. Offers shall be commensurate with the qualifications and experience and the last drawn salary of the selected candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION
SHARE INDIA located at MediCiti Institute of medical sciences, Ganpur village, Medchal Mandal and District, Hyderabad, Telangana is looking for an Assistant Engineer Intern to work on a Research Project to develop 3D printed below knee prosthesis. The internship will be for six months and end in a full-time job or a certificate. The selected candidate should have good mechanical engineering background, good communication skills, and excellent workshop and computer skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- 3D printing/rapid prototyping.
- 3D-modeling or 3D scanning using special software and hardware
- Interactions with patients, doctors and engineers working on the project.
- Working on CNC design, laser cutting, injection moulding
- Working diligently and reliably with the technical training team
- Provide support in projects that require familiarity with ANSYS, Autodesk CAD CREO, Key Shot MS-Office, PTC, Creo SolidWorks
- Assist in procuring workshop tools, equipment, and materials.
